C. Badass tournament
C1. A mutator modification will be used on our servers for the Badass tournament which  forces all players to use a level 4 perk despite what perk level they currently have.
This is to make sure no player reaches level 5 and to have a better tournament balance.

An additional modification we make for this tournament is that the level 4 perk still has a level 5 spawn weapon and level 5 perk discounts and economy.

During the tournament the Smart Patriarch will be used, look to the tournament set-up on this page for more information about the Smart Patriarch.

During the tournament games teams can only select each perk twice, this means that only a maximum of two of any particular perk is allowed.

C4. All community weapon DLC packs will be disabled during the tournament:
Community Weapon Pack 1
Community Weapon Pack 2
Community Weapon Pack 3

C5. The Rising Storm Tommy Gun will be disabled during the tournament:

KFG staff will use random map selection software for picking the maps:
a) During each round of the tournament all maps will be randomly chosen from the same difficulty tier, this is to give all the teams in the same round a similar map experience.
b) The maps are in two tiers, used as follow: Elimination round = Medium, Quarter finals= Hard, Semi finals  = Hard, Finals = Hard.
c) Teams will not play the same map more than once during the tournament. This means maps that were drawn in the map  rotation in previous rounds will NOT be played by the same team.
d) The tournament bracket system applies and therefore all teams in the same bracket will play the same map in any single round.

The maps for the medium tier are: KF-Bedlam, KF-Biohazard, KF-FilthsCross, KF-Frightyard, KF-Forgotten, KF-Foundry, KF-IceCave, KF-Transit, KF-Waterworks.

The maps for the hard tier are: KF-AbusementPark, KF-Clandestine,  KF-EvilSantasLair, KF-Hellride, KF-HillbillyHorror, KF-HospitalHorrors,  KF-SirensBelch, KF-Suburbia, KF-ThrillsChills.

C9. In the Badass tournament, we have made an amendment to rule J13, in this case we allow the teams to have 2 restarts (any combination of manual or team wipeout auto-restart).
